• He's almost always shown as an elderly man in profile or 3/4 view, eyes downcast or closed, in dark priest's clothing. Your version has that same reverent expression — not preaching, just listening / praying.
• The warm brown light on the left vs. the cooler gray on the right works like a halo without painting a halo. Very fitting for a saint known for working in the shadows with the poor.
